Here it is! Our first collection of Fortune Academy student art.
Students at The Fortune Academy, with their varied learning differences, often become imaginative, outside-the-box thinkers. Their alternative ways of viewing a problem will lead to new approaches and very creative solutions.
Paul DuFresne is a recently retired banker who also had a thirty-year career in law enforcement. Just before retirement he began to share some humorous verse with his grandchildren who are scattered across the United States. As others began to read these poems and stories the idea for a picture book to share them was born.
He now has another dozen stories drafted and is making progress toward additional books in print.
The idea for this collection came from Dr. Janet George.
